Anyone doing any good from the piers or the shore in the western basin? |

It has been real spotty, They tore them up at the island area early last week.
From what I was told from a customer, there were a few pulled Friday night.

Tried shore fishing 1/4/07. started at Catawba with no luck. I talked to a few of the locals and they sad Catawba had been slow since Christmas. Lakeside was a different story. Several fish were caught by anglers right at dark, and right after. Unforyunately we got there too late. |

We are gonna try some shore fishing tonight and try a few piers. |
