Ran up to Huron for a day trip thanks to the hospitality of Double Eagle and shared company with Keepinitreel for a graet day on the water and a little fishing success.Ran primarily Deep Reef Runners with Eriedescent being the hot slot and Blue Chrome pulling two.Sounded like the bite was strong early on and subdued into the afternoon as the fish apperaed to move down in the water column.Ran various speeds and around 1.4/1.6 seemed to be the talk about the radio.Lots of 35ft buzz and we pulled a few at that set back but pulled some at 60-70 as well.A flatline and a dipsy with cranks pulled nothing either.Got a little time to play with the new camera and get some unique shots I want to show off, hope it's not too boring.
Left Wooster area 7am.
Pretty hazy shoreside when we got there.
Put in at Holiday Harbor.
Walski's is another public launch and is right on the river.
The ride out allowed a little time to play with the camera while setting up.
The towers have brought in many, many people over the years.
The ever popular Huron Pier and lighthouse.
The east side looking down into Nickleplate park.
Did not really want to go out in that rough stuff.
Double Eagle at the helm and Keepinitreel on the rods.
Started at 20 steps and a 10ft difference between both sides.
Even heckling the fish and eating would hardly provoke a bite!!!
